Blink-182 Announces New Music & Latin American Tour Dates

Yes, it’s happening: Blink-182 is officially back with all three of its original members. Their official reunion with Tom DeLonge was announced today (Oct. 11) with a world tour and upcoming single named “Edging.” Their highly-anticipated tour includes international dates with stops in Mexico, Peru, Argentina, Chile, Paraguay, Colombia, and Brazil.

“We’re coming. Tour’s coming. Album’s coming. Tom’s coming. Tickets on sale Monday. New song EDGING out Friday. Blink182.com,” the band’s official Instagram post reads.

Blink-182 will start their tour on March 11 at the Imperial GNP in Tijuana, Baja California, Mexico. They will continue to perform at the Estadio San Marcos in Lima, Peru, on March 14. From March 17-19, they will perform at Lollapalooza Argentina in Buenos Aires, Argentina. During that same weekend, they will also perform at Lollapalooza Chile in Santiago, Chile.

There’s a TBA slot on March 21-22 in Asunción, Paraguay. After that, they are set to perform at the Estéreo Picnic Festival from March 23-26 in Bogotá, Colombia. The band will also stop at Lollapalooza Brasil in São Paulo, Brazil, on March 24-26. They will then make their way to Mexico with two confirmed stops: Mexico City’s Palacio de los Deportes on March 28 and a TBA venue in Monterrey, Mexico on April 1-2.

Portugal and Spain are also on the international list. The “I Miss You” band will perform at the Altice Arena in Lisbon, Portugal on Oct. 2. They’re also confirmed for two dates in Spain: Wizink Center in Madrid on Oct. 3, and Palau Sant Jordi in Barcelona on Oct. 4.

It goes without saying that Latin American fans are thrilled over the global dates. Social media users have already started to make memes about the upcoming shows to express their anticipation.

Others are ecstatic that the emblematic band has finally made its way to their country. A Twitter user wrote: “You’re telling me that blink-182 is coming to South America after Travis lost his fear of flying, Mark overcame cancer, and Tom returned to the band after 8 years? It’s historic, sorry but I’ve been waiting for this for 20 years. I’m crying with joy.”

Blink-182’s full world tour dates and ticket information are available on their official website.
