Karol G Announces New U.S. Tour, $trip Love Tour

If y’all had FOMO during La Bichota’s last U.S. tour, let’s just say you have one more opportunity this year to witness Karol G perform all her hits live. Earlier today (April 25), Karol G announced she is going on a new 30-date tour called $trip Love Tour, kicking off in Chicago on Sept. 6.

“There has never been a Tour where they sing to Love so NastY,” Karol G wrote on social media. “?$triP LoVe ToUr USA 2022 ? ON SALE FRIDAY, APRIL 29.”

The AEG-produced tour will hit 30 North American cities in Sept. and Oct. 2022, including major cities like New York, Toronto, Miami, and Los Angeles. “After breaking multiple sales records with her previous ‘Bichota Tour,’ Karol G promises to make her new ‘$trip Love Tour’ some of the most impressive shows in her career where she will bring to life all the greatest hits of her music repertoire,” the new tour’s press release reads. We can then presume that the Colombian star will perform not only her new singles “PROVENZA” and “MAMIII,” but also now-classics like “200 Copas,” “Bichota,” and “Tusa.” 

This tour announcement comes right after Karol captivated hundreds of thousands of fans during her Coachella’s main stage performances on April 17 and 24. For the second Coachella weekend, she performed her newest single, “PROVENZA,” for the first time, giving us a taste of this upcoming $trip Love Tour. The song is already becoming a hit, having reached the No. 1 spot on YouTube’s “Global Trending” chart only a couple of days after its release.

With that in mind, it’s clear that La Bichota is at her peak and embracing her moment by continuing her live performances: Bichota Tour Reloaded (in Latin America) and this newly announced tour in fall 2022.

Tickets for $trip Love Tour will be on sale this Friday, April 29, at 12 p.m. local time.
