Kamala Harris Posted a Sweet Tribute in Honor of Ella Emhoff’s Graduation
This weekend, Vice President Kamala Harris posted a sweet tribute acknowledging her stepdaughter Ella Emhoff’s graduation from the Parsons School of Design in New York City. “Congratulations to our daughter Ella on her graduation,” her Instagram read. “I am so proud of you. Keep dreaming with ambition and there is nothing you cannot achieve. Love, Momala.”
In the image, Harris is seen posing alongside Emhoff, their arms around each other. Emhoff wore a chic floral dress by The Vampire’s Wife for the commencement ceremony, while Kamala wore a burgundy dress and matching coat. Emhoff’s father, Douglas Emhoff, the Second Gentlemen, also posted a picture alongside Emhoff in her cap and gown this weekend. “My darling Ella, we are such proud parents,” he wrote. “We love you so much, and are very much looking forward to all you do in the future. And, to the other Class of 2021 graduates out there, huge congratulations!”
At 21 years old, Emhoff may have just graduated from fashion school, but she has already taken the fashion world by storm. She recently signed with IMG Models in January, and has since walked for Proenza Schouler and posed for Puppets and Puppets. Her Inauguration dress, co-designed by herself and Batsheva Hay, also ignited headlines. Clearly, she’s just getting started.
